During this time engineers will be upgrading software on cor1.cbr1, a core router/switch in Canberra.

This device will be reloaded during this time. Customers may experience a brief period of packet loss as traffic automatically switches over to redundant paths.

Wholesale IP customers who do not have redundant services and are connected to cor1.cbr1 will experience traffic flow disruptions for approximately 5-10 minutes while the device reloads. No further impact is expected.

During this time we will be performing major upgrades on our Sydney POP.

This upgrade involves replacing the Sydney network core with new Cisco routers to increase capacity to cope with future growth, and improve network resiliency.

While we will aim to minimise impact to customers, some customers in Sydney may experience service disruption for between 30-60 minutes.

PIPE NSW connectivity will also be unavailable to customers in both Canberra and Sydney. No further impact is expected.
